The cutting performance of the file shredder is decreasing and an increasing noise is developing.

The cutting unit should be oiled if cutting performance decreases, a sound develops and after emptying the paper container. Inject the special oil over the entire width of the feed slot onto the blade shafts. Then, press the "R" key to reverse the cutting unit until all paper residues are released. The oiling of cutting units with strip cut improves the cutting performance and avoids squeaking noises resulting from jammed paper residues.

The machine is clogged and so does not work any more.

Try to soften the cutting unit with plenty of oil. Please make sure that there is some paper in the collecting container to avoid unnecessary soiling. Once the blockage has been softened a bit, try to push it downwards using a thin piece of cardboard. If this does not remove the jam, please contact our customer service.

The machine is still only running in reverse.

The light barrier in the insertion slot is defective. Please contact our customer service.

The CD cutting unit is no longer working.

Please check if the insertion slot is clogged. If this is not the case, please contact our customer service.

The machine is running but it is not drawing anything in. / The machine "rattles".

Please check if the insertion slot is clogged. If this is not the case, please contact our customer service.

The cutting unit does not switch off after shredding.

The light barrier is interrupted. It can be cleaned with compressed air. Please note that you need to clean the sender and the receiver. If the fault cannot be remedied, please also check the light barrier of the CD feed slot in the same way. If this does not solve the problem, please contact our customer service.

The machine displays "Cut paper container full".

Please empty the cut paper container. If the display remains lit, please clean the fill level sensor, which is at the bottom of the cutting head. This is to be cleaned with a dry brush, compressed air or a soft cloth. If the LED still does not go out, please contact our customer service.

The machine suddenly turns off and no longer shreds anything.

This problem can arise if the engine was overloaded. In this case, please let the document shredder cool down for about 30 minutes before restarting it. If this does not solve the problem, please contact our customer service.

The LEDs are flashing at irregular intervals.
The machine displays "Paper jam".

If there is a paper jam, the display in the control panel lights up and the machine is automatically set to reverse. This pushes the paper back and the paper jam is removed. If the paper is not pushed out far enough automatically, press and hold the "REV" key to remove it.  If this does not remove the paper jam, please contact our customer service.
