Since the company was founded in 1971, our goal has been to combine economic success with responsible business practices. As a family-owned company, we think across generations and align our decisions with the long-term success of the business.

Our products stand for quality and are developed and manufactured almost exclusively in Germany. In doing so, we focus on efficient processes and the responsible use of resources. Responsibility and reliability have always formed the foundation of our actions.

From development to manufacturing, we place great emphasis on quality and performance. Through well-designed engineering, robust construction and long-term spare parts availability, we create the conditions for the reliable and efficient operation of our products for many years to come.

    HSM baling presses reduce waste volume by up to 95% and enable the efficient return of recyclable materials to the recycling loop.

  • HSM ProfiPack packaging machine – packaging material as good as new from used cardboard.

Own production in Germany

We manufacture our products in our own four factories in Germany - for maximum control and quality.

High Degree of Manufacturing Depth

With around 90% in-house manufacturing, we manage key production steps ourselves and ensure consistently high product quality.

Recyclable Materials

We use recyclable and environmentally compatible auxiliary and operating materials throughout our production processes wherever possible.

Certified Production

All HSM production facilities are certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001 and continuously optimize processes, material usage, and product quality. Our Reichenbach site is certified according to ISO 14001:2015.

Icons Nachhaltigkeit

  • We generate about 25 % of our power requirement ourselves.

  • Using renewable energy means that the consumption of other resources is reduced to a minimum. 

  • Almost 6,200 m² of the company area is heated using heat recovered from the production processes.

  • Check of suppliers' working conditions, sustainability and regionality.
