Gesellschaft für Teilhabe und Integration ("company for participation and integration") in.betrieb visits HSM

From 29 to 30 April, 2019 the Gesellschaft für Teilhabe und Integration in.betrieb visited the office equipment manufacturer HSM GmbH + Co. KG. Close to 30 employees responded to HSM's invitation to visit the plants in Salem and Frickingen.

in.betrieb gGmbH has offered its clients document shredding services for many years. These include, among other things, the lawful destruction (according to GDPR) and waste disposal of old files, for example paper, magnetic tapes, digital data carriers etc. To be completely up to date with all laws and guidelines, HSM invited the employees of in.betrieb to inform them about the latest developments. What kind of special regulations there are for social areas or for workshops was explained to the participants by Holger Herms, Head of HSM Academy, and Jörn Pusinelli, Regional Sales Manager for Environmental Technology for Southwest Germany and Luxembourg, in an informational data protection briefing. The focus was on the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

The participants were quite amazed during their tour of the plants in Salem and Frickingen as they could see the process steps from the individual component via the assembly to the finished machine. This agenda item was particularly interesting for the visitors, since in.betrieb are using the multi-level HSM DuoShredder 5750 shredder system as well as several HSM Powerline FA 500.3 heavy duty document shredders in their workshop and could now see with their own eyes how these machines are built.
